The Gwen Stefani eye shadow palette from Urban Decay Cosmetics

When I got the message from the beauty store KICKS that the Gwen Stefani eye shadow palette has arrived in Sweden I got so excited. I went directly too the computer and ordered it together with the Laura Mercier Translucent powder.

I have heard so much great things about this palette and the colors are so right up my alley.  The pigmentation of these colors are so well and the blend very good too. You have different colors to create different looks such as day looks and night looks.

Over all I love the Urban Decay eye shadow palettes! They are really good and they do put a lot of time to create the absolute perfect palette for every look, day and night!

My next order will be on the Naked Smokey palette from the Urban Decay!

H&M Cosmetics

Some days ago I went a quick stop to my local H&M store too buy a plane shirt and I went through the makeup section just to check some new products out. I know that H&M have re-done their makeup products and I bought a eye shadow palette and one single eye shadow color from their line. So I wanted to try their lipsticks and their lip stain. I watched the Kathleen Lights review tutorial on her Youtube channel where she absolutely fell in love with their lipsticks so I wanted to give it a try.
As you can see on the top I bought only three products from this line and it was because I wanted to try the formula first and how pigmented they are.

I really love their lipsticks! They are really creamy and moisturized lip products! I will totally buy more lip colors. And I LOVE THE PACKAGING! You can never go wrong with white, gold and black!

As for their lip stains I have to get used to it. I don't love it but I don't hate it either.
As for the price I bought the lipsticks for 99 Swedish kronas which is 11.66 american dollars and the lipstain for 79,50 Swedish kronas which is 9.36 american dollars.

Are they wroth the price? Yes, I absolutely think so!

Clean autumn look!

So a couple days ago I bought myself some new shoes and clothes. I have always been that girl that only wears black boots during autumn and winter time but now I thought to myself: I need a change in my life! So I went to a Swedish shoe store Skopunkten where you can find tons of different shoe styles. Every season they change their shoe collection and you will find a tons of variety. All from flat shoes to boots. The good thing about this shoes store is that they have their image where you can buy three pair of shoes and get one free or buy two pair of shoes and get one of them half the price. What a great deal! The other good thing about this store is that the shoes are really comfortable but also really cheap. Best catch ever!
So I bought these brown boots with a small thick heel that makes it more comfortable to walk with during autumn and winter time. I combined these boots with a pair of blue denim jeans, a shirt from Zara with light blue and white stripes and of course a black Zara jacket with golden details. I feel that these boots goes with everything. With grey shirt, black shirt, white shirt etc. Love it!

Kat Von D - Shade + Light Contour Palette!

So I finally  got my hands on the Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour palette. I have heard so much good things about  this product. I have used my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour palette for a while now and I thought it was time too switch it up.
The Scandinavian Sephora just brought this product to our stores and a lot of our makeup lovers bought this product directly. For the rest of the Kat Von D products which includes palettes, lipsticks, liquid lipsticks etc. will be available in February in the Scandinavian Sephora stores.
My thoughts of this product are very positive. I have only used it once but I must say I really love it. The pigmentation of this product is perfect and I love how the contour shades are blendible. I also love the highlighter of this palette.

You get three different shades/skin color types. One for very fair skin tone, one for medium skin tone and one for dark skin tone. Of course you can blend all of the colors to match your skin color or to do your own color.

For an example I am really fair so I use the fair skin tone colors on this palette but I do mix it up with the medium contour shade. When it comes to the darker shades I can use it as eye shadows. There are no rules when it comes to makeup. You can use these colors as face product but also like eye shadows.

The negative about this palette is that you can't replace the colors when they are finish as you can with the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit. I hope they change it later in the future because only using it one time I really love it.

So is it worth the splurge? YES! You get good amount of product, good pigmentation, steady palette and good variety of shade colors.

MAKEUP HAUL! Includes Chanel, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Kat Von D etc.

For some days ago I went for some makeup shopping and I did some damage on my bank account. I was actually for hunt for the Kat Von D Shade N Light contour palette but of course I ended up buying a lot more products.

Some makeuo news on Scandinavia is that our Sephora now have Sephora White and Black Cards which means you can collect points. We did not have that before but I am so happy about this because I know that a lot more people will be more products in Sephora and that means more makeup brands for the Scandinavia Sephora. I also got information that Scandinavia Sephora will soon launch online shopping! GOD BLESS THE MAKEUP GOD!!!!!

Anyways the makeup I bought was from Sephora and another makeup store in Sweden called KICKS. It's like ULTA in USA.

The things I bought in Sephora was the Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette, Chanel Healthy Glow Multi-Colour in the colors Mariniére N02 and N02, anothe Beauty Blender, NARS illuminator in the color Hot Sand,  a small sample of Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Corrective Serum and Clarins Hydra Quench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase.

Then I went too Kicks and wanted to buy the Magic Of the Night collection but almost everything was sold out BUT I got my hands on the MAC last collection in extra dimension skinfinish in the color Shaft of Gold. It is such a beautiful bronze color filled with gold shimmer. LOVE IT. I also bought MAC mineralize skinfinish in the color Lightscapade and the two MAC lip liners in the colors Whirl and Soar. I bought two mascaras one from my favorite mascara brand of all time, MaxFactor, in False Lash Effect - Full lashes, natural look mascara and Eyeko London in Curvy Brush Mascara. I also got my hands on the famous Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer.

After that I could not resist myself so I went to another store called Åhlens which they have more higher brand of makeup such as YSL, Bobbi Brown, Doir etc. I  bought for the first time the famous Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in the color Beige. I must say it was expensive but so worth it. LOVE IT. The I also bought one eye shadow from Bobbi Brown in the color Cool Ivory 2K. It is a very cool grey tone that you can use as a transition color but also as a contour color. Very pigmented!

After seeing Tati (one of my favorite Youtuber) using the H&M makeup I headed directly to the store nearby my and bought two things from the new makeup line. I bought one single eye shadow in the color Baci Di Dama and one palette in the color Aubergine Dream. Before I took makeup serious I bought most of my makeup from H&M but the quality of that makeup was horrible but I must say that I am really impressed of the new makeup line from H&M. The have redone EVERYTHING from foundations to lipsticks. I will buy more makeup from H&M.

Would like me to post more makeup haul and do you want more close up pictures of all the products?

Have a wonderful day!

Benefit Cosmetics - In Coralista

My newest edition on the Benefit Cosmetics blush collections is the Coralista blush. This a typical summer blush that goes perfect with a tan but I do use this now too. I love the coral pink color onto the cheekbones.
My goal is to have all of the Benefit Cosmetics blushes because I think they are worth the money but also you get a lot of product for the money you. I bought Coralista when I was a little bit more tan and I used it daily the whole august and september. I use it now too but I use the Dallas blush more just because I think, personallu with my very fair skin tone right now, complements my look. If you are still tan and have that summer glow I really recommend you to try this one. You will not be disapointed. Another thing about this product is that the pigmentation is very good.

Morphe brushes!

Long time no see, right?

I want to first apologies that I have been off for so long time. I hit a stressful point in my life during these last weeks but I feel a little bit better right now.
For two weeks ago I had some family over from New Jersey, USA and of course as a makeup addict I ordered some make up that is very hard to buy here in Sweden.

I will post everything and I also have bought a lot of new makeup which I will post as soon as possible. One of the things I ordered from USA was some Morphe brushes and palettes. I ordered the bronze palette in the number 9BZ and a blush palette in the number 9B. The quality of these two palettes are really good and the other good thing about this palette is that it is very affordable.

So when it comes to the bronze palette you will also get nine different colors. You will get four light warm colors for the everyday bronzer look. You will also get two grey toned bronzer which is good for contouring your face. Then you will also get three more darker colors to bronze. I really recommend this palette for every skin tone because you will get a good amount of variety.

The blush palette has nine different colors and they are good variety of the color selection. You will get two really pink blushes, two peach/pink blushes, two more taupe/peach blushes, two more dusty rose blushes and one really red blush. The pigmentation of these blushes are really good. So if you dust your brush really light on the blushes will get a good amount of blush. My absolute favorite are the two more taupe/peachy and the two dusty rose blushes. I am though afraid of using the red blush but I will try to make it work. If not you can always use it as a eye shadow.

I will pruchase the eye shadow palette too because so far I am a huge fan of this brand! It is the first time I have tried this brand and I must say: I AM IN LOVE!

LOVE YOU MORPHE BRUSHES! <3

For baking my face I used the MAC Prep+prime transparent loose powder. For contour I used the ABH contour kit in the color Fawn and for warming up my face I used the Too Faced Little Black Book of Bronzers. For highlighter I used the Becca Cosmetics skin perfector powder in the color Opal. For blush I used the Benefit Cosmetics in the color Dallas.

My foundation collection!

I am currently re-planning my makeup buys and I am really into buying new foundations all the time. My favorite by far is the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24h foundation. I have used a lot of different foundation and I seem to not find that perfect foundation that has it all. But I really do recommend the Lancome foundation. Gives you that flawless coverage but also hydrates your skin.
Last summer, I had a really oily skin. So I used the foundations such as MAC Studio Fix Fluid just because it gives you that full coverage look and also locks down the oiliness. I also used the Rimmel Stay Matte  Liquid Mousse Foundation which also gives you that full coverage face. I think that these two foundations helped me a lot last summer.
But after the hard winter I had a really dry skin. So I had to re-plan my makeup to suit my skin issues. So I bought the Lancome one (which by far I love the most). I also bought the L'oreal True Match foundation just because it's more lightweight and if you have dry skin you have to moisturizes your skin a lot but also use light weight foundations.
As a makeup junkie I can not live with just some few foundations so I bought the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. I did a small review on this foundation. My thoughts with this foundation is that it applievery well with a damp beauty blender but I tried it with a stippling brush and I really did not like the finish of it. So for my experience, if you want to buy this foundation use a damp beauty blender. I think it applies so much better. I also tried the Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector which is okey I guess but I do not reach for this that much.

I am on a hunt for the perfect foundation and I really do think your advice's will help me a lot. Please comment down below or on my Instagram: @makeupbyarberesha.

My eyebrow routine and product!

A lot of people are asking me how I do my eyebrows and what kind of products I use. For starter I always check my eyebrows to see that they are even and well trimmed. Then after that I fill them with these products.
I start of using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the color Taupe. I use this to fill in the gaps in my eyebrows. I have good amount of eyebrow hair so I do not have to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade all over my eyebrows like some of the beauty gurus do.
To get the most natural eyebrow look I use the Brow Wiz to fill in the gaps but also do small strokes in the beginning of my eyebrow. Just to get that soft touch. To get the sharp end I use the Dipbrow Pomade and I am in the color Taupe. I like the Pomade just to fill in the end of my eyebrow just to get that crisp fine line at the end. With that I use my Make Up Store eyebrow brush in the number 210.
To finish my eyebrows I put my MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set in the color Quiet Brunette.

My contour and bronze - products!

So I am constantly trying new things when it comes too contour and bronze up my face. When I began with makeup I used the e.l.f. Contour and blush palette. But gradually I tried different products. I have always been a more powder-contour and bronzer girl just because I think it is much easier too apply and blend it on your face. I have though used a stick formula from the FitMe collection, Maybelline and I must say it was a pretty good finish.

Then I got my hands on these products and so far they are my favorites to contour and to bronze up my face. For contouring my face I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette in the color Fawn but sometimes when I am in a hurry I contour my face with the Benefit Cosmetics Hoola bronzer which I hit pan right now and have to purchase a new one. Too bronze up my face I use the Bourjois chocolate powder, or the Black Book of Bronzers from Too Faced.

But another thing I also do, which I got inspiration from the beautiful makeup guru Nikkietutorials, is that I contour my face with the ABH-palette in the color Fawn and then too bronze it up using the Hoola-bronzer from Benefit Cosmetics. I just love the finish of it.

Eyeshadow palettes collection!

I was out of ideas today for blogging about makeup so I started to clean my vanity. Then I thought that I could do a eyeshadow palettes collection. I don't have a lot of eyeshadow palettes but I still want to show you what I have right now. I am planning to buy other palettes from different brand but a one step at a time.

Right now I have 20 eyeshadow palettes and they are from drugstore but also higher brands such as Too Faced, Urban Decay, Tarte cosmetics, Lorac etc.
Beginning with the biggest one I have and it's this Sephora Chroma Color Eye palette. This was a limited edition during the Christmas Holidays and I got from my sister. The good thing about this palette is that you get a lot of different eyeshadows but also eye pencils. The negative about this one is that it is not travel friendly. I also think that some of the colors in this palette are not that pigmented that I wanted it to be. Sephora eyeshadows, single eyeshadows, are really pigmented but in this palette some of them are choky and not that pigmented.

Another palette I have is from Viva la Diva and you can find these in Sweden in the stores such as Åhlens, Lindes etc. This a very cool and colorful palette. Pretty good pigmentation for a cheap palette. The only negative about this one is that they are all shimmery/metallic colors. I am that kind of girl that wants different variety when it comes to the complexion of the shadows. I want matte, shimmer, satin, metallic etc.

Then I have this Chinese Z-palette that  I got from AliExpress. I have different shadows here that I have forgotten from which brand they are.
Some months ago e.l.f. Studio Cosmetics came up with the Beauty Book and the launched different looks. I got the Smoky Look from my friend. I really do like e.l.f. just because it is cheap and you get a good product. Too be honest I haven't tried this one yet but just for swathing these colors I must say I am a little bit disappointed. You will get four matte/satin colors and the two shimmery colors. For the matte ones they are not pigmented at all. They are choky. But when it comes to the shimmery colors they are really pigmented and good quality.

Then I have my Meis professional Make-up Eyeshadow palette from Macedonia. I bought this one in a market from my hometowns in Struga and I must say I really do love it. They are all matte colors so you can do a lot of different looks with it but also combine it with other palettes.

Then I have this old palette from IsaDora. It's the Color Palette that includes 4 eyeshadows, 1 lip color and 1 blush. I really do love this palette just because of the color and the pigmentation of it. Just  because the palette is old does not mean that you can't use your eyeshadow palettes. The thing is that you really have too take care of your makeup. You can't have your makeup in place that is too hot or too cold.
Yet another palette from Macedonia. The complexion of these shadows are a lot like the Make Up Geeks foiled eyeshadows. Really, really, really pigmented but you can have fall outs when you apply the shadows on your lids.
As for much newer IsaDora I bought myself two of the eye shadow palette in the colors 50 matte chocolates and 60 crystal glitz. Pretty good pigmentation for a drugstore palette. I really recommend these.

I have heard a lot of good things about Sleek Make-Up so I bought a i-Divine Mineral Based Eye Shadow Palette in the color Celestial 445. You will get 12 eyeshadows all from matte to satin to shimmery colors. Too be honest I only like four colors from this palette; Galactic, Earth Shine, Lunar and Eclipse.

Then we have the famous and on of my top favorite makeup brands; tarte Cosmetics. I bought the Christmas Holiday collection that came in a huge box. In that box you would get two eyeshadow palettes, two blushes, three lip products, two mascaras, three eye pencils. The quality of these shadows are really good. I also like the natural colors that included in these palettes. Plus they are travel friendly and doesn't take a lot of place.

Then we have the famous Naked-palettes from Urban Decay. I feel like the hype of the Naked-palettes have become a little down and shut. Maybe because of the newer brands come up with different palettes, I really don't know. I have all three of the Naked palettes and I really like them but my all time favorite is the Naked 2 just because I think it completes my blue/green eye color. I have a dupe of the Naked and Naked 2 palette and it's this Nudie palette from Viva la Diva. If you have this brand near you I really recommend this for the beginners. Before you buy expensive makeup you can practice you technique with a brand like this. This Nudie palette is really good and has that good pigmentation.

Lorac Pro palette one of my favorite but I have forgotten to use it because of my Too Faced palettes. But a really good palette. I also want the Lorac 2 Pro palette.
Ah my darlings! The Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette and the Semi Sweet. These are my all time favorites right now. I can use them daily. I really like the palettes by them selves but also combining these two to create a good eye look. Plus it smells so good. I highly recommend these palettes!

Next blog post will be all my bronzers and blushes!

Have a wonderful Friday,
With all love.

Juno & Co. - Microfiber Velvet Sponge

For about a month ago I bought the Juno & Co. Microfiber velvet sponge. After watching Nikkietutorials (Youtube) review of this sponge I...
